There will be ten 2025 Aprilia RS-GPs on track at the Sepang Test in February.
In the past Aprilia has been slow at bringing their 2025 specification MotoGP machines to tests. However, the Italian manufacturer is now breaking its usual habits and is providing all five Aprilia riders with 2025 specification Aprilia RS-GPs at the Sepang test.
It ‘was a first’ for Aprilia to have their 2025 RS-GP available in November for the Barcelona Test. Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi were able to try the latest machine alongside the 2024 model.

For the next test in Sepang Martin and Bezzecchi will once again have a pair of 2025 RS-GPs each. But as well as the Aprilia Racing riders the Trackhouse Racing riders of Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura will also both have a pair of 2025 RS-GPs.
Aprilia Test Rider, Lorenzo Savadori, will also be provided with the latest RS-GP model as well for the test.
This means that for the first official test of the 2025 season Aprilia will have ten available 2025 RS-GPs.
“Yes, it’s the biggest effort that we have done for sure,” Aprilia Team Manager, Paolo Bonora, stated.
“So we are happy about this, but in particular we’d like to thank all the people in Aprilia Racing and both teams.”
“I can’t wait to be in Sepang to see the new line-up,” added Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola. “It was already such a good motivation in Barcelona. In fact, even the day before the test was something special.
“We’ve changed a lot. Also with Fabiano, we have a new challenge. Let’s say the last thing we miss is motivation! We can’t wait.”
Aprilia unveiled their 2025 Aprilia RS-GPs at a team launch event at Sky Italy’s Milan studios. The Italian manufacturer had both Martin and Bezzecchi on hand to showcase their new machines.
It was at the launch event that Martin also confirmed that he would be using the #1 for the 2025 season.
