The bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 squad took the top two places in the opening Moto2 session of the weekend.
In the opening Moto2 session of the weekend, it was Tony Arbolino who topped the timesheets for the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 squad.
Izan Guevara was in second place, but was 0.430 seconds behind his teammate around the Automotodrom Brno in Free Practice One.
Moto2 rookie, Daniel Holgado, ended his first session around Brno in third place on the CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team machine.
Historically, Celestino Vietti has struggled at the Czech Republic Grand Prix, but he started his weekend in fourth place for the SpeedRS Team.
Rounding out the top five was British rider, Jake Dixon, but he was 1.039 seconds behind Arbolino’s best lap time in the opening session.
After returning to the podium at the German Grand Prix, Barry Baltus and the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad have carried their form to Brno as he started his weekend in sixth.
Manuel Gonzalez had his best session of the season in wet conditions as the Moto2 World Championship leader was in seventh place.
The KLINT Forward Factory Team rider of Alex Escrig, continues to show his form in wet conditions as he was in eighth place.
Moto2 rookie, Adrian Huertas, and the Italtrans Racing Team had a positive start to the weekend as they ended up in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the reigning Moto3 World Champion, David Alonso.
