The Moto2 Practice session was red-flagged due to weather conditions, but during the dry track time, Joe Roberts set the fastest time.
Before the rain returned to the Automotodrom Brno, it was Joe Roberts who jumped to the top of the timesheets for the OnlyFans American Racing Team, and that is where he remained when the red flag ended the session.
In second place was home hero, Filip Salac, the Czech rider was 0.542 seconds behind Roberts on his Elf Marc VDS Racing Team Boscoscuro.
The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad ended the day in third and fifth place, with Manuel Gonzalez in third and Senna Agius rounding out the top five.
It was Marcos Ramirez who split the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP teammates as he ended the session in fourth, but was 0.687 seconds behind his own teammate at the top of the order.
Mattia Pasini is participating in his first wildcard of the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, and the Italian ended the day in sixth place on the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego machine.
Behind Pasini was his teammate for the weekend, Aron Canet. The Spaniard, who is currently second in the Moto2 Championship, ended the day in seventh place.
British rider, Jake Dixon, secured a Q2 spot for Saturday as he ended up in eighth place on the timesheets for the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team.
Completing the top ten was the SpeedRS Team. Alonso Lopez ended the day in ninth place, and Celestino Vietti found himself in tenth.
