Moto2 rookie, Ivan Ortola, topped the opening Moto2 session of the Day at the TT Circuit Assen for the MSi squad.

On Saturday morning, Moto2 rookie Ivan Ortola took top spot on the opening session of the day for the intermediate class on the QJMOTOR – Frinsa – MSi Boscoscuro.

The Fantic Racing Lino Sonego riders ended Free Practice Two in second and fourth place, with Aron Canet in second and Barry Baltus in fourth.

Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP finished in third and fifth place, with Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez in third and Senna Agius in fifth.

Off the back of a podium at the Italian Grand Prix, Albert Arenas finished Free Practice Two in sixth place on the ITALJET Gresini Moto2 machine.

The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team riders were both inside the top ten, with Jake Dixon in seventh and Filip Salac in ninth.

Splitting the Boscoscuro riders was the OnlyFans American Racing Team rider of Marco Ramirez, in eighth place.

Completing the top ten was the Brazilian rider Diogo Moreira from the Italtrans Racing Team.
