Filip Salac mastered the TT Circuit Assen as he set a new lap record on his ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Boscoscuro.

The final Moto2 Practice session on Friday afternoon saw Filip Salac take top spot on the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Boscoscuro as he set a new Moto2 lap record.

Aron Canet ended the opening day in second place with the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad.

Moto2 Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, was just behind his title rival on the timesheets as he ended the day in third place.

Tony Arbolino and the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 squad put their Boscoscuro into fourth place in Friday afternoon Practice.

Rounding out the top five was the Moto2 rookie, Ivan Ortola, as he finished in fifth place on the QJMOTOR – Frinsa – MSi Boscoscuro.

American rider, Joe Roberts, 2024 campaign came undone at Assen last season, but this year he is back on form as he ended Day One in sixth.

Izan Guevara made sure that both bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 riders were guaranteed a slot in Q2 as he ended the day in seventh.

British rider, Jake Dixon, had a difficult afternoon as his Boscoscuro machine suffered an engine issue during the session, but he still finished in eighth.

Marcos Ramirez and the OnlyFans American Racing Team got passage to the second Qualifying session as the Spaniard finished in ninth.

Completing the top ten was Alonso Lopez, who topped Free Practice One but could not match the pace in Practice on the Folladore SpeedRS Team Boscoscuro.
