BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider, Tony Arbolino, topped the opening session of Day Two at the Sachsenring.
In the drying conditions in the opening Moto2 session of the day, it was Tony Arbolino who made the most of the conditions and topped the timesheets.
Moto2 rookie, Daniel Holgado, started his day in a positive way as he finished in second place for the CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team.
Deniz Oncu has continued his good form at the Sachsenring as he started the day in third place for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad.
The reigning Moto3 World Champion, David Alonso, had a successful morning as he was in fourth place on the timesheets.
After claiming his first Moto2 victory at the TT Circuit Assen last time out, Diogo Moreira started Saturday in fifth place at the Sachsenring.
The Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad were in sixth and seventh, with Aron Canet in sixth and Barry Baltus in seventh.
Ivan Ortola started his day in the mixed conditions in eighth place for the QJMOTOR – Frinsa – MSi squad.
The only Forward rider inside the top ten was Alex Escrig, as he finished in ninth place on the FLINT Forward Factory Team machine.
Completing the top ten was the Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, on the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP machine.
British rider, Jake Dixon, suffered a crash at the top of the waterfall while leading the session and dropped back to 14th place.
