Celestino Vietti and the SpeedRS Team ended the opening day at the Sachsenring at the top of the timesheets.
The 2025 Moto2 season has been a difficult year for Celestino Vietti, but the Italian was on form on Friday afternoon at the German Grand Prix as he led the field in Practice.
The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad ended the day in second and third, with Senna Agius in second and Manuel Gonzalez in third.
Marcos Ramirez and the OnlyFans American Racing Team ended the day inside the top five with the Spaniard in fourth.
After a difficult morning session, Aron Canet jumped up the order in the afternoon and ended up in fifth place for the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad.
Ayumu Sasaki has guaranteed himself a spot in the second Qualifying session on Saturday as he ended the day in sixth place.
The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider of Filip Salac, was the second Boscoscuro rider inside the top ten as he finished in seventh.
With a new contract in his back pocket, Joe Roberts has been on the pace on Friday in Germany as he ended up in eighth place.
Completing the top ten were the CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team of David Alonso and Daniel Holgado, with them in ninth and tenth places.
British rider, Jake Dixon, will have to go through Qualifying One on Saturday after ending the day in 17th place.
